Rachel is a Product Technical Manager within the Life Technical team at BT Life Insurance, and has over 13 years industry experience.

Rachel uses her in-depth knowledge of product and industry, together with financial planning strategies, to develop and deliver effective advice strategy tools and collateral.   She has a sound understanding of adviser needs, through daily interaction about risk recommendations.

As a regular contributor to Kaplan, FPA magazine, and other industry media, Rachel seeks to provide a source of information and guidance that can be easily translatable to client strategies.

Prior to her current role within BT’s Life Insurance Product team, Rachel was part of the Technical Services team at Asteron Life.  In her last four years, she led a Technical Services team that supported a wide base of advisers, both aligned and independent.  In this team, Rachel provided general advice on a range of financial planning topics including superannuation, insurance, estate planning, Centrelink, aged care and taxation.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (Finance), Bachelor of Science (Mathematics), and the Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning).
